She would like hear the ocean as it breaks
Hear the waters clatter dancing as it rains
But the only sound she hears
Is silence in her ears
So she listens for a voice and sings this prayer

Lord give me Your ears for the ones I have can’t hear
Your whisper of love in the clamor of the earth
I know that you’re near for I see You in this world
Just give me Your ears so I can hear

It’s often easier to critique the quality and appearance of an open door than to just walk through it.  Don’t stop the blessing of God just because the open door has cracking paint.

The difference between a life of darkness and depression and one of promise and purpose can be as small as one thought, one singular hope.  Remember that next time you have the opportunity to share the greatest hope of all, Jesus Christ, with one who is in darkness.  Don’t fail to speak out life.

Never fail to give because you feel your gift is too small.  One voice alone may be a small sound, but a million joined together makes a sound that can’t be ignored.

Love is seen through action.  How have you loved today?

God does not speak the language of the world.  Knowing that it stands to reason that if all we learn is the language of our world and culture we will not be able to understand the words with with God speaks to us.  Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, then you will know and hear the voice of God.

If we dream a better world where there aren’t hungry sick and poor will it just fade away as waking turns from sleep?  Maybe if we would just survive on what is needed not desired we could find a way to see dreams awake.

Beauty is not found within the eyes of those who see, but within the eyes Majesty.

In a culture where everyone wants to be extreme in everything they do why does the church continue to present a gospel of safety?  Actually, it’s not even truth.  Christ never said following him would be safe.
