True community takes loads of time, trust and intention, but if you are willing to make that investment it will always reward you with great returns.

He would like to know He isn’t here alone
That the path He’s on would one day lead him home
But the world around him seems
So steeped in misery
So he falls upon his knees
So he falls upon his knees

Lord give me your heart for the one I have can’t feel
The love that you’ve given for those broken and in need
I know that you’re near for you’ve said that you are here
Just give me Your heart
Just give me Your ears
Just give me Your eyes so I can see

She would like hear the ocean as it breaks
Hear the waters clatter dancing as it rains
But the only sound she hears
Is silence in her ears
So she listens for a voice and sings this prayer

Lord give me Your ears for the ones I have can’t hear
Your whisper of love in the clamor of the earth
I know that you’re near for I see You in this world
Just give me Your ears so I can hear

Thought of the Day: Verse and Chorus of a New Song

I’ll share the rest in the next few days.

He would like to see the stars in fine array
Glitter diamonds shining on their velvet veil
But his eyes can just see night
In the shadow or the light
So he looks into the void and sings this prayer

Lord give me Your eyes for the ones I have can’t see
The beauty You’ve spread from the mountains to sea
I know that You’re near for I can hear You in the breeze
Just give me Your eyes so I can see

Sorry my thoughts of the day have been put on hold for a moment. I have recently began some new ventures in my life and I’m not yet acclimated to the changes. I have moved, started as an Artist in Residence for New Hope Church in Portland and started as a high school worship leader for Living Hope Church in Vancouver. As you can see, there is much hope in my life and things are going well. Just need to settle into a routine and we’ll be back on.

Keep checking back. I’ll try my best to be back to my daily thoughts within a few days.

Thanks for reading and your support for my ministry.
