Thought of the Day: Anti-Redemption

It seems the standard response Christians have to pop-culture is to create a Christian copy of it and denounce the original, then sit back and wait for non-Christians to realize the error of their ways and join the holy culture.  The result is most often the creation of a culture only Christians are comfortable in and which pushes non-Christians farther away.  It is, in fact, anti-redemption.  It’s time Christians infiltrated the world and became God’s hands and feet in the process of redeeming what has been lost instead of working so hard to create the new world with their own hands.

This is good. Very good. I often tell people that we are called to minister grace (be servant to it) not administer grace.
