I’m sorry I’ve been MIA for a while. I recently moved and have been working at getting a new site going that will include everything my website contained plus my blog all in one easy to use spot.
So it’s now ready to go. Just go to nathanarnoldmusic.com and everything from this point will be there. Calendar, booking info, pictures, music, and the blog. I’ll be spending time over the next few weeks importing some of my old posts and hopefully adding a lot of new ones.
Thanks for your continued readership of the blog. I hope you’ll make the switch over to the new site and tell your friends to come along. One of the biggest helps you can me to my ministry is spreading the word and pointing people to me so if you have a blog I’d love a link, or any other word spreading you can give.

p.s. I’m still waiting for my DNS to switch all the way over so it may be hit or miss for the next 72 hours getting to the blog. I may have jumped the gone in telling folks to head there, but hang with me. It won’t be long before it works without a hitch.

Sorry my thoughts of the day have been put on hold for a moment. I have recently began some new ventures in my life and I’m not yet acclimated to the changes. I have moved, started as an Artist in Residence for New Hope Church in Portland and started as a high school worship leader for Living Hope Church in Vancouver. As you can see, there is much hope in my life and things are going well. Just need to settle into a routine and we’ll be back on.
Keep checking back. I’ll try my best to be back to my daily thoughts within a few days.

It’s often easier to critique the quality and appearance of an open door than to just walk through it. Don’t stop the blessing of God just because the open door has cracking paint.

Or handouts to stop my hunger.
I don’t seek your pity for my poverty
Or your sympathy for my solitude.
I don’t require tears for my tragedies
Your advice for my deficiencies
Or your comfort for each catastrophe.
What I desire is
The occasion to show I’m able
The chance to be sensational
Just a moment to be inspirational
Or in my attempt make failure beautiful.
The most simple of gifts it seems
And yet most rare it is to receive.
I wonder if you’ll give this to me
The gift of opportunity.

The difference between a life of darkness and depression and one of promise and purpose can be as small as one thought, one singular hope. Remember that next time you have the opportunity to share the greatest hope of all, Jesus Christ, with one who is in darkness. Don’t fail to speak out life.
